Preschool

St. Joan of Arc's preschool program offers a nurturing environment, where students are encouraged to discover, engage, interact, make mistakes, and problem solve. The program is based on the Creative Curriculum, which aligns with Early Learning Content Standards approved by the Ohio Department of Education. We also align our curriculum with the Diocese of Toledo Preschool Standards. We offer a developmentally appropriate, differentiated curriculum to best serve the broad range of needs and interests of emergent learners. Our students have full use of our outdoor playground equipment, bike track, and indoor gymnasium creating a balance between activity and structured learning.

Well-rounded growth in a fun environment is key to Preschool at SJA. Each child experiences hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning while growing both academically and socially. Spiritual growth is part of the program, too; hence our slogan: These little feet will follow Jesus! We offer a full-day or half-day program. Younger students are encouraged to attend M/W/F or T/TH, while older preschool students are encouraged to attend 4 or 5 days a week.
